Sketch and Plan In store Service

This service is designed to help you create a garden of your dreams. Our Garden Professionals will be able to assist you in choosing the appropriate plants and placements by creating a simple sketch.

A garden design sketch is free with the purchase of any plants to be supplied and installed by our Installation Crew.

Let’s Get Started !

To get started on this project together it is important that we gather information to ensure you get the garden you envisioned. Lets consider the following;

What is the purpose of this new garden space e.g. shade, kid or animal friendly, entertaining, screening, color etc?
Are there any household mechanical features located in the new area e.g. Air conditioning units, downspouts, dryer vents, hose bibs etc?
How cold does your location get in winter?
Locate all underground utilities by calling Blue Stake at 1800 this is a free service provided for our safety and your liability. This can be done just prior to installation.

Do you have a plot plan of your home and existing garden? Where does the run off water go?

Do you know your light level i.e. is the area shady, full sun or both?
Any allergies, consider immediate neighbors?
If you have current photos of the garden space and the neighborhoods each side bring them in. Also include photos of any area you wish to screen.
If you are a member of a neighborhood association read over your CC & Rs and allowed plant list, be sure to follow up with them and give proper notice of intent.

Now Some Fun

Take a nice long walk around the garden center and make a list (using the sheet below) of all the plants you would like to consider for your project.
